Bringing the mind and body together to support transformational wellbeing from the inside out.
Somatics, Therapy and Yoga
Helping you to recognise that trauma does not have to define you.
Dr. Sally Eccleston
Hi! I’m Sally.
I’m a registered HCPC Psychologist and a Senior Yoga Teacher with 8 years of experience and training. I am experienced in a number of therapeutic approaches and my specialism is including the body in therapy. I offer somatic therapy as a tool for recovery from trauma.
We cannot solve everything in the mind. We also need tools from holistic wellbeing as well as Western science to help us to understand the complexities of being human. Movement, healing, deep rest, and the language of the body is also our truth. But we disconnect from what can guide us towards a deeper sense of wellbeing because we forget. We seek quick and easy solutions because of the challenges in everyday life, and we forget that it’s OK to ask for help with complex issues, whether as an individual or an organisation.
I can help you to understand better and work with what is really going on, whether for you, your child(ren) or a child you are professionally involved with at school.
After a decade of work, study and practice as a yoga student and teacher and as a registered psychologist, I now work with adults as well as young people and schools, and offer specialist online and in-person coaching and therapy, as well as group classes and events in the Stockport and High Peak areas. I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council as a practitioner psychologist, and have a deep passion for working with the mind and body connection, with over 300 hours of training as a yoga teacher.
